These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the KhataKro app, website and web account portal, provided by Geolatris (“Geolatris”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using KhataKro, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for everything done with your account. You must give accurate information and keep it up to date. You must be at least 18 years old to use KhataKro.
2. Your records and your responsibilities
Your business owns the records it enters. You are responsible for their accuracy and for having the right to keep information about your workers, staff and business contacts, including telling them what you record. Wages, salaries, leave balances, profit figures and AI suggestions are worked out automatically from what is entered and the settings you choose. They help you keep accounts; they are not payroll, tax or legal advice, and they do not make you compliant with wage, provident fund, ESI or tax rules. You remain responsible for what you pay and file.
3. Staff clock-in and location
When a business turns on clock-in, its staff record their own attendance by tapping Clock in and Clock out, and the phone's location is saved with each tap. A business that uses clock-in must tell its staff that their location is recorded at those moments and why. Phone locations can be inaccurate or faked, so a clock-in is evidence for the business to weigh, not proof; the business, not KhataKro, decides attendance and pay. Staff must clock in only for themselves, from their own account.
4. Teams
The owner of a business controls its records, its plan and who can see what. Team members act for the business and see only what the owner allows. When the owner removes a member, that member's access ends; what they entered stays with the business. Billing and business settings can only be changed by the owner.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse KhataKro, including trying to reach other users' data, interfering with the service, faking locations or attendance, uploading unlawful content, or using KhataKro to break any law.
6. Plans, free trial and billing
KhataKro has a free plan with usage limits and a paid Pro subscription. Pro can be tried free for 14 days; the trial is started by you, is limited to one per business, takes no payment method, and ends on its own.
Pro is sold on the KhataKro web portal and processed by Razorpay. There is no purchase inside the mobile app. It is billed in advance and renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. Before your first payment we show you the amount, how often it recurs and the date of the next charge, and you confirm them; by subscribing you authorise that recurring charge. Only the business owner can subscribe or cancel. You can cancel at any time and keep Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for.
If you change your mind about your first payment, you can ask for it back within 7 days, less payment processing charges. Full details of trials, renewals, cancellation and refunds are in the Subscription & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Downgrading or lapsing never deletes your records and never hides them. Sites and people beyond the free limits are locked: you can still open them and pay what is owed, but no new work can be added to them. Pro modules you already used, such as client invoices and subcontractors, become read-only. Team members beyond the free limit are suspended and cannot sign in, but keep their roles and sites. Subscribing again lifts every lock.
7. Availability and changes to the service
We work to keep KhataKro available and reliable, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may pause it for maintenance, and features may change or be withdrawn over time.
8. Ending your account
You may stop using KhataKro and delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms.
9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
KhataKro is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for lost data, profits or wages, arising from your use of KhataKro. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Mumbai have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will change the “Last updated” date and, when a change is significant, tell you in the app before it takes effect. Using KhataKro after that means you accept the new Terms.
